Unique Features & Attractions:

  • Cocklebiddy Cave is perhaps its most famous feature. It’s a long cave system (over 6 km) where around 90% of it is underwater. It has been a site of worldrecord cave
    dives.
  • The cave entrance has an enormous chamber (300+ metres) and connects to subterranean lakes.
  • There’s also the Eyre Bird Observatory, approximately 49 km south from the roadhouse. It sits in sand dunes in the Nuytsland Nature Reserve. Over 230 species of birds have been recorded there.
