Unique Features & Attractions:

  • Cocklebiddy Cave is perhaps the area’s most famous feature. It’s a long cave system (over 6 km), with around 90% of it underwater. It has been the site of world-record cave dives.
  • The cave entrance features an enormous chamber (300+ metres) and connects to subterranean lakes.
  • There’s also the Eyre Bird Observatory, approximately 49 km south of the roadhouse. It sits among sand dunes in the Nuytsland Nature Reserve, where over 230 species of birds have been recorded.
